Why Here? - Location Highlights

Los Angeles Stadium is the ideal location for the next Southern California NFL team. It is centrally located in the City of Industry, near to the major population and economic hubs across the Southern California region. With ample access to freeways and public transit, the stadium will be easily accessible to everyone in Southern California.

Directions

From Los Angeles: Take the 10 or the 60 and exit Grand Avenue or one of many adjacent exits.

From the San Fernando Valley: Take the 210 to either the 605 or 57 to same exits above.

From San Bernardino: Take the 10 or the 210 to the 57 Freeway or the 60 Freeway to the exits above.

From Riverside: Take the 60 to the exits above or the 71 to the 60 or the 91 to the 57 to exits above.

From Orange County: Take the 57 or the 605 to the 60 to the exits above.

Exercise 1: Site Location is connected to the Blue Line (Riverside Line) contrary to information in ex01 handout that says “create a new station for the Metrolink San Bernadino Red Line between Brea and Pomona North”

Site Visits today include East Ontario station, Downtown Pomona station, Claremont Station to photograph and represent an experience of this metrolink and use it in the preliminary research.

Riverside Line: East to West: Riverside Downtown, Pedley, East Ontario, Downtown Pomona, City of Industry, Montebello/Commerce/ LA Union Station

The target location between Downtown Pomona and City of Industry on Temple Ave, Pomona, Ca.


Temple is 3.39 miles from Downtown Pomona station, and is 2.53 miles from City of Industry station.





Trainstations: Downtown Pomona Metrolink (Blueline: Riverside Line)

1. Entry to parking via south entrance on 1st St and Garey: Metrolink Parking Costs $1.50 per day


2. South parking lot connected to Downtown Pomona art district, linear pedestrian paths connect from art district through parking lot lined with street lamps and trees bringing you to a series of sitting/waiting areas.

c. Unique about Downtown Pomona metrolink: Spanish themed (Spanish tile etc), landmark pedestrian bridge, connection to Pomona art district.
